1. INTRODUCTION & ACCEPTANCE

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the One Gym Cheshire website (onegymcheshire.co.uk) and your membership or use of our services.

By accessing this website or purchasing membership, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. MEMBERSHIP TERMS

2.1 Membership Agreement

Your membership is a service contract between you and One Gym Cheshire. Membership is non-transferable and personal to you.

You must be aged 18 or over to purchase membership. All members must complete a health questionnaire and fitness assessment before starting.

2.3 Membership Types

  • Reformer Pilates: Unlimited sessions (1 per day max), month-to-month or 6-month commitment
  • Gym Membership: Unlimited access to private studios, month-to-month or 6-month commitment
  • Personal Training: Sold as session blocks or monthly packages

2.4 Minimum Commitment

Launch offers require a 6-month minimum commitment. Standard memberships are month-to-month after the initial period. You cannot cancel during your commitment period without paying the remaining balance.

3. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

3.1 Cancellation Period

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided you have not yet attended sessions or used services.

3.2 Cancellation After Use

If you have attended sessions or used services, you forfeit the right to refund. You may cancel membership with 30 days' written notice after your commitment period ends.

3.3 How to Cancel

3.4 Refunds

Refunds for unused sessions will be processed within 14 days of cancellation. No refunds are issued for partial months or unused class bookings once committed.

3.5 Non-Attendance

Membership fees continue during non-attendance. We do not offer refunds for sessions not used. You may pause membership — contact us to discuss.

4. PAYMENT & BILLING

4.1 Payment Terms

Membership fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis. Payment is non-refundable except as outlined in Section 3.

4.2 Payment Method

4.3 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt retry within 5 days. If payment fails after retry, your membership may be suspended until payment is received.

  • Respect other members' space and privacy

5.2 Prohibited Behaviour

One Gym Cheshire reserves the right to refuse service or terminate membership without refund if a member:

  • Behaves abusively toward staff or other members
  • Damages equipment or facilities
  • Violates health & safety protocols
  • Uses illegal substances on premises
  • Engages in harassment or discrimination

6. LIABILITY & DISCLAIMERS

6.1 Health & Safety

You acknowledge that fitness training carries inherent risks of injury. One Gym Cheshire is not responsible for injury, illness, or loss arising from your use of facilities or participation in sessions, except where such loss is caused by our negligence.

6.2 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Consulting your GP before starting exercise if you have pre-existing health conditions
  • Informing instructors of any injuries or limitations
  • Following all safety instructions and using equipment correctly
  • Stopping if you feel unwell or in pain

6.3 Assumption of Risk

By purchasing membership, you assume all risk of injury or loss. One Gym Cheshire is not liable for accidents, equipment malfunction, or health incidents unless caused by our direct negligence.

6.4 Insurance

One Gym Cheshire maintains public liability insurance. This does not cover your personal belongings — we recommend you do not bring valuables.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on this website (text, images, logos, designs) is owned by One Gym Cheshire or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without written permission.

8. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY
